2014 COINVEST VENTURE DAYS
Excellent resolution business event for south east European tech startups and global smart money: Three days, Two Startups-Meet-Investors Events, Unlimited Business Opportunities | November 11-13, Nova Gorica, Slovenia
Centre of Excellence for Biosensors, Instrumentation and Process and Nova Gorica in partnership with Slovene Enterprise Fund and European Commission Representation in Slovenia hosted the third Coinvest investment conference between November 11th and 13th, 2014. With several events executed, this year's conference had outgrown into 2014 Coinvest Venture Days. We hosted more than 300 participants with entrepreneurship-investment background from more than 25 countries. In three days, almost 70 startups from Slovenia and other South East European countries pitched their projects to more than 70 investors from EU, USA, Israel and Turkey (venture capital funds, business angels, corporate investors, accellerators).
Investors', startups' and other participants' impressions are highly positive – they were satisfied with the high quality of presented startups, the current state of business environment and the conference execution.
On November 11th, 2014 Coinvest Pacinno tech investment conference was organized. The overall winner of the event has become startup 3DSURVEY, however, our USA expert jury has selected their winner, startup CARLOCK. Coinvest Pacinno tech investment conference is a part of IPA project Pacinno, whose partner is COBIK and involves 8 partners from Adriatic region. The project is co-funded by the Government office for development and European cohesion policy and by the European Union through the instrument for pre-accession assistance.

On Wednesday and Thursday (November 12th – 13th) another event took place in Nova Gorica: 2014 BALKAN VENTURE FORUM – COINVEST EDITION with some of the world top speakers and startup presentations to investors. The expert jury has selected 25% of the highest rated startups to win the event: Edgar (SLO), Kanas (SLO), Adora (SLO), GoOpti (SLO), Sensilab (SLO), Kinestica (SLO), Doctrina (SLO), DiabetesLab (IT) and HanInScan (H).
